MWSU MATH PLACEMENT TEST |
Click the link below for the PDF file of the Placement Test Study Guide. The study guide for the placement test has the same questions as asked on the actual placement test. A minimum score of 20 correct is required to test into General Studies math.
The Placement Test is given on the ALEKS system. Please use the instructions below to familiarize yourself with the ALEKS program.
| Go to the website www.aleks.com/plugin
Under INDEPENDENT USE, click on » FREE TRIAL. Under EXPLORE STUDENT MODULE, Click on » Try ALEKS Now. When asked for Independent User Type, choose I'm a student. When asked to Choose your market, choose Higher Education│Math. When asked to Select a Course, select Intermediate Algebra. Complete the tutorial. Complete the assessment if desired. |
Come to the Developmental Mathematics Program (DMP) when you have finished practicing and wish to take the placement test. The DMP is located in Popplewell Hall 108, 109, and 114.
