Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

This socially inspired charity event is dedicated to the many women who are victims of violence. 

Males will form teams, or walk as individuals, wear women's shoes (preferably heels or pumps) and walk a mile.  This walk, while in women's shoes, symbolizes the pain, oppression and suffering many women face everyday.  The goal is to help men build awareness and empathy as it pertains to violence against women. 

Kick Off is April 11, 2010 at 9a.m. in the Blum Union Lobby.  Breakfast will be served at 8a.m.
