5TH ANNUAL GLOBAL WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

Purpose of this Event

The purpose of the Global Women’s Leadership Summit is to provide a safe and educational environment, where dialogue connecting the experiences of women can occur, and that targets the students, staff and community constituents of Missouri Western State University. This experience should challenge conventional thoughts about women and womanhood, while supporting growth and the acquirement of knowledge

Learning Objectives

Women’s Conference:

1.      Participants will be knowledgeable of at least 2 female theorists

2.      Participants will attend at least 4 workshops

3.      Participants will meet female leaders in St. Joseph and at MWSU

4.      CME will add additional female leaders to its WS Networking Circle

Men's Summit:

1.      Participants will gain knowledge about themselves through dialogue and             

         interaction

2.      Participants will meet and dialogue with at least two male 

        leaders
