Chemathon is a regional chemistry and physics competition hosted annually by the Missouri Western State University Chemistry Department, the first competition being held in 1977. Chemathon generally draws between 450 and 600 students from regional high schools to compete in four academic divisions:
Division 1: General Chemistry I
Division 2: General Chemistry II
Division 3: Physics
Division 4: Dual Credit Chemistry
Students in each division compete in a series of events individually or as part of a team. Events include:

Oral Team Competitions

This year Chemathon 2012 will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012. If you would like to enter more than one team in any given division, please contact Dr. Ducey.
