In addition to the writing, math, reading, and study skills help that may apply to any class on campus, the Center also provides content tutors who specialize in specific courses. One-on-one or small group tutoring is available by request for almost every course at MWSU. All of the Center's tutors are hired only after being recommended by faculty, and all are trained in tutoring techniques before they begin working with students seeking help. |

SI SESSIONS
Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions are led by faculty-selected, trained students who have sucessfully completed the course. These students also attend classes again in order to be as current as possible with the text and lectures and to model effective study habits (notetaking, etc.). SI sessions are regularly scheduled based on the needs of the class and are used to review lecture information, become familiar with the text, and prepare for tests.
