- Make an appointment to
see your academic advisor
- Consult your
Advisement Graduation Planner (four-year educational plan)
for the list of courses needed
- Run a degree audit for
your intended major; print this out and take to your
advising appointment. Degree audit is most helpful for
students who have earned 30+ credit hours. Go to
www.missouriwestern.edu/registrar and click on
"Degree
Audit" for instructions
- Check course schedule
to see what classes are offered with dates and times. Go to
the Missouri Western webpage and click on "Current
Students", then "Course Schedule" to view this information
OR log into your GoldLink account, under the "Student
Academics" tab, click on the "Look up Classes" link inside
the "Registration" box
- Meet with your advisor
to receive your Alternate PIN - this is needed to register for
classes. Your Alternate PIN changes every semester
- Check to make sure you
do not have any holds that will keep you from registering
(Ex: Business Office hold for late payment; Admissions hold
for missing documentation; Business Office hold for unpaid
parking tickets, etc.). You can check your holds by
logging into your GoldLink, click on the "Student Academics"
tab, and in the "Registration" box, click on "View Holds"
- Log into GoldLink and
register for classes on the specified date according to your
class rank
