Each semester, Missouri Western welcomes hundreds of transfer students from around the nation to join in the Griffon tradition.
Transfer students are admitted based on their academic records from all accredited institutions they have previously attended. It is important that you send official transcripts from these institutions as soon as possible after applying for admission so you can register for classes at the first Transfer Registration Program.

How will my credits transfer?
Missouri Western grants credit for all coursework taken from an accredited college/university, however, certain programs may have limitations on how much of that coursework will apply toward your degree at Missouri Western. Upon receipt of ALL final/official transcripts from your previous institutions, an official evaluation of your coursework will be completed and emailed to your Missouri Western email account (which is available to you once you are admitted into the University).
Transfer guidelines and equivalencies are available for schools where most of our students transfer from. You can use these guidelines as a reference:

When do I register for classes?
You will be invited to a Transfer Registration Program when all of your admissions documents (transcripts, test scores -if needed, etc.) have been received. You can check your application status through your One Stop applicant portal. Fall applicants will be invited to our June registration program and Spring applicants will be invited to our January registration program. Watch your mail for more information about month prior to those timeframes.
