What made you decide to choose Western? The campus and a basketball scholarship! I made a visit to come, fell in love, and I ended up canceling other visits elsewhere. The campus, the area, the people, and the size sold me!

What is your fondest memory of Western? Hands down, stepping on the court for the last home game of my senior year. So many amazing moments happened on that floor. In a close second was Homecoming Week 2006 and being named Queen!

Why I love my job as an Admissions Counselor? Every day I help someone make an important decision. Even better, they choose to attend Western! The choice of a university is tough and I get to be a small factor in their decision.
What every incoming student should know: Do something new! Step out of the current level you’re on. There are so many new things beyond what you are accustomed to and you never know what other doors it can open. In that…be yourself! You get to be who you want to be.

If I were a cookie I would be: A chocolate chunk cookie. Don’t you always go for the cookie with the most chocolate in it?!

An interesting fact about me: My dream job is to be a high school guidance counselor someday and I am currently pursuing my Master’s.

Favorite Spot on Campus: You guessed it, the basketball court!
