CONTRACT RENEWAL

Steps to Take and Things to Note When Renewing Your Contract

  • Make sure that you have your student ID.

  • First check what priority day you qualify for.

  • Make sure your contract is completely filled out before coming to renew your contract.

  • Students who have lived off campus for at least one semester will need to submit $100 deposit with their contract.

  • Arrive at the Commons during your scheduled time.

  • Residents are able to renew their contract plus one other contract if so desired. If renewing someone else’s contract it must be filled out and renewed on the appropriate day.

  • All roommate requests must be mutual (i.e. noted on both contracts).  The last day to request a change is April 15.

  • Once you renew your contract, you cannot submit another contract or receive a different assignment. To request an assignment change, you must come to the Commons Building office 106 and complete a change request form.

  • Residence hall contracts are for the entire academic year unless noted on the contract.

  • A $100.00 cancellation fee will be assessed when a student cancels their agreement. This fee is waived for “first time residents only” if cancelled in writing by June 1. Therefore, all returning students do not qualify for this option. All returning students who cancel will be charged the $100 cancellation fee.
