MO-RCPI SPECIALTY AREAS

The MO-RCPI provides training and technical assistance to Missouri in all aspects of community policing. The Institute has an extensive training schedule to reach out to small departments. It designed, developed, and implemented a Community Survey tool to assess a community's readiness to embrace community policing. During the past five years the MO-RCPI has provided training over 400 individual training sessions involving over 500 Missouri law enforcement agencies with over 7,500 law enforcement officers and community stakeholders attending.

In addition, the MO-RCPI joins in with the other 27 RCPIs in the National RCPI network to deliver Ethics and Integrity training. The MO-RCPI has also developed considerable expertise in developing collaborative problem solving partnerships and facilitating problem solving teams in addressing crime and disorder problems.
