The MWSU Courtesy Patrol was created to increase and enhance the security and crime prevention services already provided by the Department of Public Safety. This program provides a means for students to travel safely from place to place on the campus grounds.

The Courtesy Patrol will accompany students, on campus, Monday through Thursday. The patrol escorts carry flashlights and wear orange vests imprinted with the words MWSU COURTESY PATROL. They also carry two-way radios for communication with the Public Safety Officers. When available, the Public Safety Officers will provide escort if the Courtesy Patrol is not on duty.
