Application for Admission

You must also complete an Application for Graduate Admission for the institution. Please ensure that a copy of your GRE scores is sent to Missouri Western State University GRE Code 1434

Minimum Requirements for Admission:

_____    Undergraduate GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale

_____    450 or higher on the quantitative section of the GRE

_____    No score less than 400 on any section of the GRE

_____    Completion of an undergraduate statistics course

_____    Completion of an undergraduate research methods course

_____    Application deadline March 15th for priority consideration

Submit an application to the department that includes the following materials:

1. A letter of application that clearly spells out
1. Your name, address, phone number, email address, and other contact information
2. Your undergraduate preparation for a Human Factors graduate degree. Please discuss your statistical and research training, as well as any other skill sets (e.g., computer programming, graphic arts) you have.
3. Whether you intend to be a full-time or part-time graduate student
4. Any discrepancies between your abilities and any information on your transcript or GRE.
5. A clear statement of interest discussing your career goals and your interest in Human Factors Psychology
6. Information on financial assistance you are seeking. Note that you will still need to complete the appropriate paperwork to apply for financial assistance.
2. An official copy of your undergraduate transcript(s)
3. The names of at least two individuals who will be sending letters of recommendation
