STATEMENT OF PURPOSEThe purpose will be to gain survey results from voluntary student participants, and to then analyze the results from this and other academic circulation departments across the state.
STATEMENT OF RESEARCH METHODOLOGYThe research methodology will be to distribute the online survey link to students within MO West's circulation department and ask them to voluntarily complete the survey. There is no penalty for not participating.
ANTICIPATED RISKS AND BENEFITSThis study only involves an online survey. It is entirely voluntary and anonymous - the participants will only see their answers and the researchers will only see the totaled results and not individual results. There is minimal risk to the participants.
SUBJECT SELECTIONThe total number of students within the circulation department of the MO West library. Probably no more than 10.
CONFIDENTIALITYThis study only involves an online survey. It is entirely voluntary and anonymous - the participants will only see their answers and the researchers will only see the totaled results and not individual results. Participants will be made aware of this level of confidentiality and informed consent before they participate.
