MWSU Music Major Announcements (E-mail listserv required for music majors)

Music Major Announcements is an email list for important announcements to MWSU faculty and music majors. It is an "announcement-only" email list (as opposed to many other email lists on the internet that are "discussion lists").

All music faculty members can send announcements to the list. Music majors can also submit announcements to the list (simply email them to "mwscmusic@list.missouriwestern.edu"); the list moderator will review these announcements and forward them to the entire list at his discretion.

All MWSU music majors should subscribe to this email list and remain subscribed as long as they are MWSU students.

MWSU Music Events (E-mail listserv required for music majors)

Music-Events is an announcement-only email list that provides information about performing arts events at Missouri Western State University and in the community. On occasion, you might receive as many as two or three music event issues in your email box in a week, but more typically, you will receive one or two issues per month.

This listserv is available to: interested community members and MWSU students, staff and faculty who would like to keep abreast of performing arts events are welcome to subscribe; all MWSU music majors should subscribe to this email list and remain subscribed as long as they are MWSU students; and students enrolled in Perspectives in Music at MWSU should subscribe to the email list and should remain subscribed as long as they are enrolled in the course.

We respect your privacy and will not use your name and email address for any other purpose other than informing you about performing arts events at MWSU.

MWSU Music Major Chat (E-mail listserv required for freshman music majors)

Music Major Chat is an email list that MWSU music majors may join to chat about classes, homework, music or whatever interests them.

It is an open discussion list. Its purpose is to help music majors help each other and to get to know each other better. On the list, you may get homework tips, advice on what classes to take, or opinions on new music.

List participants are invited to vigorously discuss issues and argue their opinions. However, they are asked to keep list discussion on a professional level by avoiding personal attacks and "flames".
