 Located
on the north side of Downs Drive,
Agenstein Hall is a flurry of
activity. Built in 1970 and recently
remodeled to reflect technological
and design advancements, it houses
many departments, including the
Computer Science, Math & Physics,
Biology and Chemistry departments.
Evan R. Agenstein, a
professor emeritus of Missouri
Western, served as a department
chairman and became president of the
Board of Regents after his
retirement in 1971. He had served as
an instructor during the Missouri
Western's time as a junior college
and a 4-year institution.
