Online Courses

Student Outside Working on LaptopOnline classes offer you the opportunity to continue your education at your convenience. Western Institute offers exceptional educational opportunities with instructors who care about the success of their students. An online class is very similar to an on-campus class in that you will be required to read, participate, take tests, and complete assignments and papers. Most of these activities will all take place online. Some online classes will not contain lectures; you will instead learn by reading, discussing topics on the discussion board, and completing independent or group activities. Other classes may have lectures in the form of audio or video clips and interactive simulations. Some online classes may require you to occasionally travel to campus or another designated location near you to complete tests. If it is not possible for you to travel to another location, contact the course instructor to find out what is expected in the class.
