Esry Student Health Center is not staffed or equipped to manage severe medical emergencies. Nursing staff does not make campus “house calls.” In a true emergency, it is important to obtain care as quickly as possible. Valuable time may be wasted by calling the Health Center. In this situation students should call 911.
If a student or employee is in need of immediate attention, call 911 for an ambulance to be dispatched; then notify Public Safety at 271-4438 so they can assist with routing of emergency vehicles, traffic control, etc. Please note that campus personnel cannot provide transportation.
If a student or employee is unable to get to treatment without assistance, request that an ambulance be dispatched. |
