Dr. Mark Mikkelsen

Associate Professor of Philosophy and Humanities - Mark's teaching interests in recent years have focused on expanding philosophy course offerings at Missouri Western to include upper-level courses, such as Aesthetics and the Arts (HUM 320), Topics in Ethical Theory (HUM 330), Classical Philosophy (HUM 353), and Modern Philosophy (HUM 355); he also regularly teaches a variety of general studies courses, including Introduction to Philosophy (HUM 210), Ethics (HUM 230), and Humanities I: Renaissance to Twentieth Century (HUM 205), and he occasionally teaches Logic (HUM 219).
