Thank you for your interest in Missouri Western's Social Work Program! The baccalaureate Social Work Program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), our national regulatory body. Accreditation means that our Social Work Program meets CSWE's high standards and effectively prepares students for beginning-level careers as social workers. Social work programs are accredited only after a lengthy period of self-study, an on-site visit by a team of social work educators, and a review by the Commission on Accreditation. CSWE has recognized the quality of Missouri Western's Social Work Program since 1979.
