Mandatory Exit Loan Counseling for Graduating Seniors

2012-13 Registration for Spring and Summer Graduates

To help you navigate the student loan repayment process, Missouri Western requires graduating seniors to attend an Exit Loan

Counseling session.

Because of the importance of the information provided in this session, a hold has been placed on your student

record until this requirement has been satisfied.

You will need your Department of Education PIN to participate in the session. If you have forgotten your PIN, visit

www.pin.ed.gov and select “Request a Duplicate PIN.”

Student loans are real loans—just as real as car loans or mortgages and must be repaid.

If you experience difficulty repaying your student loans after you leave school...you will likely qualify for a deferment,

forbearance, or income based repayment option. It is important that you remain in contact with your loan holder and keep

your loans in good standing.
