Hazing

Hazing is a fundamental violation of human dignity. MWSU has a strong, zero tolerance policy regarding hazing for all student organizations. Hazing is forbidden in all Greek organizations at MWSU. Hazing, or any activity that subjects members to harassment, intimidation, physical exhaustion or mental distress, is entirely contrary to the founding principles of the Greek Community and the University and the State of Missouri. All members of the University Community share the responsibility to challenge and make known to the University, any acts that appear to be hazing.

Financial Information

Every Greek letter organization at MWSU understands the financial responsibilities that come with college. This is why the chapters work so hard to make sure the cost of being a member of a chapter is affordable. New members can expect the first semester of membership to be more costly than the following semesters as there are one-time only fees. Monthly payment plans are available in each chapter to help you meet these financial obligations of membership. Each chapter will provide more detailed financial information to potential members during the recruitment period.
