TAC/ABET Accreditation
The four-year programs in construction and electronics engineering technology are nationally-accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (TAC/ABET). Western is the first and the only 4-year public institution in the state of Missouri to offer 4-year TAC/ABET-accredited programs in construction and electronics engineering technologies.

Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
All the programs are continuously assessed as all the programs are required to demonstrate achievements through a variety of assessment tools, such as graduate career performance and employer feedback, exit examinations, course assessments, student surveys, graduate surveys, etc.
