folder for submitting formal papers along with pre-writing, rough drafts, etc.

Summary Essay 10%
Rebuttal Essay 10%
Other Single Source Essay 10%
Multiple Source Essay 20%
Research Paper 26%
Homework 8%
Classwork 8%

Late Work/Missed Classwork
Notify the teacher in advance to arrange to complete work prior to class in event that you will be absent.
Late papers are lowered by one letter grade per session late.
Classwork is not made up without prior arrangement and/or authorization.
The daily classwork grade during unexcused absences will be an F.
Attendance
More than 4 absences: Semester Grade lowered by one letter grade.
3 tardies count as 1 absence
Cheating/Plagiarism: Automatic failure of the course
Final Exam: Tuesday, May 10 8:30-10:20
