Welcome to the Web site for English/Theater
341
Shakespeare,
a course taught by
Ed
Malone in the Department of English, Foreign
Languages, and Journalism (EFLJ), in the Division of Liberal Arts and
Sciences
(LAS),
at
Missouri Western State College.
Offered every fall
semester, ENG/THR 341 is a required course in
the Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and the Bachelor of Science
in English Education and counts as an LAS
computer
literacy course in
both degrees. It also fulfills the
Area Six Aesthetic Appreciation requirement for the Bachelor of
Interdisciplinary Studies.
This Web site was designed
primarily for students enrolled in the course, but visitors are welcome to
explore the archive and even contribute annotations to the current Sonnet
Site. The navigation panel to your left provides links to
different sections of the course
syllabus: a statement of policies, a description
of assignments, a course calendar, a list of Web resources or
"links" related to
Shakespeare studies, and the
current roster of students. The archive contains student projects and
postings from
previous semesters: electronic editions of pre-1926 critical
articles, original critical essays, reviews of stage productions, Web-site
reviews, virtual marginalia of sonnets, and bibliographies.
