 Attendance: Necessary! We will do a great deal of group work and peer revision, which you cannot make up. If you miss class more than 3 times, your grade will be lowered one full grade for each absence. ***If you are late to class, it is your responsibility to check after class to be sure I have marked you present. If you are consistently or excessively late, you may lose grade points.

Late Papers: All assignments are due at the beginning of class. Your grade on an assignment will be lowered one full grade for each day it is late. If it is more than 3 days late, you will receive a zero.

Grading Policy:

Final drafts - 60%

Participation, preparedness, attitude - 20%

Quizzes & other assignments - 20%

All assignments done outside of class must be typed.
