Summer Study in France  

Course Descriptions, Credit Information and Staff

Université d'Angers French language instruction is given according to the needs of the students. MWSU offers credit to students at the 200 and 300 levels depending on student skills. Classes focus on written and oral expression.

MWSU students may enroll in either one of the courses listed below.

Courses

FRE 207
This course is suitable for students with two semesters of college-level French or two years of high school French. Instructors teach with active participation and communicative methods. Professors at the Université d'Angers, 3 credit hours.

FRE 307
This course is recommended for students with four semesters of college-level French or four years of high school French. Instructors teach with active participation and communicative methods. Suitable for intermediate students. Professors at the Université d'Angers, 3 credit hours.

Program Staff
Susan Hennessy is a member of the English, Foreign Languages, and Journalism Department at Missouri Western State University.  The director is responsible for overseeing the progress of all students and provides one-on-one tutoring, academic support, and guidance, as needed.
