Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a special program designed to help individuals with physical and/or mental impairment(s) obtain employment. In Missouri, VR services are provided by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, a part of the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. It provides vocational evaluation, training, medical, and job placement services for those eligible for services. An area Vocational Rehabilitation counselor is available in the Disability Services office one day a week. Appointments to see the counselor can be made in the Disability Services office.
