How does your program prepare graduates for a career in Communication and Theatre?

What can I do with my degree?

Graduates who have completed a degree in Communication Studies are employed in fields such as advertising, public relations, journalism, fund raising, human resources, nonprofit management, advertising, politics, health care, law, and education. Recent graduates can be found on the faculty at Ball State University, Boston College, and West Texas A&M University.

The state-of-the-art multi-media tools and skills mastered by our theatre/video graduates enable them to find careers in the growing media indsutry. Such postions include film and TV editors, motion graphic designers, content production creators, DVD authoring, web designers, producers, actors, directors, script writers, sound technicians, electricians, carpenters, production managers, camera operators, and production assistants.

How does your program prepare graduates for a career in Communication and Theatre?

The Communication Studies and Theatre Department programs prepare students for a fast-paced, ever-changing job market. Students who have completed a degree in one of the emphasis areas of Communication Studies or the Theatre/Video major find employment in a vast range of positions. Students in our department gain valuable industry-like experience with hands-on activities with state-of-the-art technology.
