The Computer Science and Mathematics Scholarship
Program at Missouri Western, which is funded by the National Science
Foundation, will grant up to 20 scholarships to academically
talented computer science or mathematics majors, who qualify for Federal
financial aid. This program will increase the numbers of majors, especially
from under-represented groups, and will foster learning outside the
classroom. These goals will be achieved through a learning community built
on faculty-student mentoring, internship opportunities, and activities
related to career development.
