As director for multicultural education at Missouri Western State University, I consider it both a pleasure and a privilege to be part of those on campus ready to help you become competent leaders at MWSU, in the surrounding community and in your future careers.

Part of my goal is to ensure that Missouri Western State University is a dynamic, challenging and comfortable place for all.  So as we continue to increase the ethnic and cultural diversity on our campus, I will work diligently and compassionately to guarantee that multicultural awareness, understanding and fairness are the norms, not the exception.

It is with a great sense of pride that I, along with a wonderful staff, embark on a challenging journey of self-discovery through cultural exploration and challenge.  We are excited to invite you to begin or continue this journey with us.  The plethora of avenues available to help you along your journey to become culturally competent, knowledgeable and empathetic to diversity issues is no further than the CME!  We encourage you to take full advantage by visiting our office and start building life long relationships.
