Welcome!
The Journal of Applied Learning in Higher Education (JALHE) will
serve the international community of scholars engaged in applied
learning at institutions of higher education. Its purpose is to
advance scholarship on applied learning by providing an outlet for
empirical and theoretical work related to this pedagogical practice.
At present, it will be published annually. Topics may focus on
assessment or evaluation of the quality of applied learning, the
development or administration of applied learning programs,
representing and valuing applied learning for promotion and tenure
processes, the relationship between applied learning practice and
student learning outcomes, or related topics. Presentations that are
data- or theory-driven and are of interest to an interdisciplinary
audience will be given the highest consideration. We discourage
submissions that merely describe a particular applied learning
experience.
