Alumni Association

The Missouri Western State University Alumni Association was established in 1970 to advance the educational interests of the university. The Association provides opportunities for alumni to stay in touch with Missouri Western.

The Alumni Association works directly under the Alumni Services Office. The association is led by a board of more than twenty alumni who are dedicated to getting alumni involved in the life of MWSU.

A number of programs have been established to achieve the goals of the Association. Each year the Alumni Association recognizes the accomplishments of past students and current instructors with Distinguished Service Awards. The Association also sponsors events such as reunions for alumni during Homecoming, commencement receptions for graduating seniors, as well as a reunion luncheon for former students of St. Joseph Junior College. Regional alumni committees help to plan alumni activities in St. Joseph, Kansas City, Columbia, and St. Louis.
