What is an ACT Residual?
ACT Residuals are basically the exact same test as the National ACT, but
the scores from the test are only good at Missouri Western State
University, they are given more frequently than the National ACT, and
the results are available the same day the test is taken.
Where and when is the test given?
The tests are given in Eder Hall, room 208. The test begins promptly at
8:00 a.m., so students should check-in at 7:45 a.m. on the test date.

Who is eligible?
Students eligible for ACT Residual testing are those coming to Western
in need of ACT scores for advisement or those attempting to achieve a
higher score. Students needing ACT scores for another institution are
not eligible. Score reports will be sent directly to the Office of
Admissions at Western by around 2:00 p.m. on the day the test is taken.
Students are only eligible to take one ACT Residual in a 60 day
period.
How to Register The $45
registration fee is due when registering for a test date. Students may
register in the Testing Center located in Eder Hall, room 203. Seating
is limited to 40 students each test date and is on a first-come,
first-serve basis.
