What is it?
Students that are residents
of Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, that would typically
pay out-of-state tuition and choose to live in the
residence halls can now receive IN-STATE TUITION
(a scholarship worth the difference between in-state
and out-of-state)!
Who is
eligible?
Eligible
students must meet one of the following categories:

First-time freshmen must score an ACT
composite of 21 or higher and have a cumulative
high school GPA of at least 3.0.

Community College transfer students must have
an associate's degree and a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Non-community college transfer students with
less than 60 credit hours must have an ACT
composite of 21 or higher and have a cumulative
3.0 college GPA.

Non-community college transfer students with
more than 60 credit hours must have a 3.0
cumulative GPA.

How do I apply?
You will automatically receive this award when you submit your housing contract, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),
and enroll at Western.
Details:
This award cannot be combined with the Midwest Student
Exchange Program, or the
Western Frontier Scholarship. Recipients must
continue to live in the residence halls and maintain a
3.0 cumulative GPA for renewal.
