Drowsy Chaperone" ends this weekend - The Tony Award-winning
musical comedy is a tribute to the Jazz Age shows of the 1920s. The show ends
its run this weekend Dec. 6-8. The remaining shows begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. Tickets are $14 for adults;
$12 for faculty, staff and military; and $8 for students. Tickets may be

Fall Concert - The Missouri Western State University Choral area presented its Fall Concert
on December 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Fulkerson Center. The Renaissance
Singers began with music from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The
MWSU Concert Chorale followed with a program featuring the music of G. F.
Handel, Ralph Vaughn Williams, traditional folk songs such as Londonderry Air, and
much more. The evening concluded with the popular song Impossible Dream from "The Man of La Mancha", a piece that dazzled
the audience as a surprise ending to Lights and Tights.
Fall Art Sale in Potter Hall Art Gallery - Art produced by MWSU fine art students and
faculty will be available for purchase from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. December 5-7 in
the Potter Hall Gallery. A portion of the sales will go to the Amy Singleton
Memorial Art Scholarship Fund. In addition to all types of media (pottery,
prints, drawings, sculptures, graphics, photographs), the CUPS FOR KILN project
will be offering more than 800 hand-built or thrown stoneware and porcelain
mugs for $20 each. All proceeds go to the construction of a large wood-fired
